Installing a boost gauge on my supercharged GT, i have removed the threaded plug on the throtle body, about to install the threaded nipple for the nylon tubing to connect to. the question i have is do i reinstall the pin and spring before the nipple or do i leave it out. Im guessing to reinstall the spring assembly, can anyone confirm this or am i clueless?

That's not a vacume port. your going to have to replace that piece you broke and reinstall the spring and plunger. this is part of the drive by wire assempley on the side of the throttle body. you should be back about six inches where the vacume used to go to the drivers side pcv valve, the pcv valve should be capped off and the vacume block tied into the bypass valve. the block should have a 1/4" plug in it you can remove or the gauge came with a tee fitting you could plice into the hose running to the bypass valve.

crap

i thought that was wrong, live and learn. I have 2 lines coming off the manifold top/bottom they are not capped off, and have no tee fitting. Not sure if i am looking at the correct spot. the upper runs to the driver side by wheel well, the lower from driver side valve cover and the intake manifold
