Your idle is probably set too low. 5.0's dont have idle compensation for PS load per se.

Good luck.

In addition, if the idle speed is ok, then I would start checking out the motor, making sure it's firing on all 8 cylinders, etc. Might not have enough umph to turn the PS and everything else.

When i play with the idle it does not do anything also my engine is running fine tho maybe your right tho i guess ill have it checked to see if its firing on all cylinders.

Do you think it could be the cobra Intake manifold and the injectors and all that with the ecu? its a swapped engine it has like 73000 miles on it? So im boggled to what is wrong with the thing.. itll run fine then when it gets warmed up you have to rev it the first couple mins to get it to stay running and turning the wheels makes it basically stall..

Ok i pulled codes i got 3-1-4 was the first one and 3-1-1 was the second i cleaned the maf everything today still doing it the idle is great when you turn the wheel tho you have to give it gas to keep stay running other then that it runs great. Both of them say thermactor air system? no running while car is running and other one about 02 sensor or something. What does this mean?
