I have found a Bullitt that they will sale me for x-plan. the only problem is that it has the shaker 1000 system. Can you disconnect the sub in the trunk?

What I should have said is can you remove it to get some trunk space.

Yes. It takes about 10 minutes to remove, I believe.

Jump all over that deal!!!!!!!!!!!!! The sub box and amps come out quite easily! I had mine out the last time I went to the track.

I'm curious as to why you want to remove it. Are you planning to install an after market sub, or just need the space? There is a setting on the head unit menu to turn it off.

Guess I need to update my information. Ford seams to be doing better from all I have read on the classic side and yes Shelby has completely lost it.

I do not like the fact that the shaker 1000 takes up a large portion of the trunk and I am too old for all the bass. Besides with the exhaust on the Bullitt who needs a stereo.

If you don't want the subs, I'd just pull them and set them aside in case you ever go to sell the car.
