my aftermarket h pipe (catless) does not have the connection for the thermactor air injection system. Can I just leave the one connection that runs to the head, then leave the hose that ran back to the h pipe open, or should I plug this? Thanks

What is the purpose of the smog system pushing air into the heads? for simplicity could I just leave the system hooked to the heads and plug the end going to the exhaust, or leave this end open

The air to the back of the heads helps get the cats up to temp faster. As noted, if you dont have cats, you already modified the emissions on the car, so you might as well remove or totally disable the A.I.R. system.

You can simply vent the line going to the cats and leave the rest alone. I'd put a hose on the open pipe and run it up someplace high and out of the way in the undercarriage. You really dont want water or moisture going up that hose. You also dont want to plug it however.
