Help pls

Hello all,just recently bought a 02 gt 4.6 and the dude said the clutch was bad so ok I replaced the clutch plate and pressure plate,car still doesn't go into gear, lost at what it could be really any ideas would be appreciated

Does it go into gear when engine off? Clutch adjusted?can you get any gear?

Retrace the steps.

1. Why did you chose to replace the Clutch in the first place? (Diagnosed Correctly?)
2. Did you reconnect the Neutral Safety Switch?
3. Did you replace anything else? (throw-out bearing, clutch fork, shaft, fluids)
4. When you put it all back together, did you mind the proper torque?
5. Recheck that damn Safety Switch
6. The Clutch Cable, Did you seat it fully at the fork?
7. The Clutch Cable, on the firewall is it adjustable or fixed?

You are saying that it Will not go into gear at all. Was this the issue before you turned the wrench? I am asking this because I am 100% the one who had this same issue. I burnt up a Stage 2 clutch in 26 miles after install........

Dropping transmission rn going to double check everything and put a new throw out bearing in cause my old one looks a little beat up

Went out while just on the free way clutch just wouldn't engage goes into gear when off,where is the safety switch located? And yes new clutch cable I used the clutch petal to let it set itself

On the 01 build we are swapping in a T5 so I am needing the following to do so

1. T5 with Bell (Have it)
2. Pedal assembly (Have it)
3. Clutch Kit (Getting it from parts house - My Supplier at my shop is hooking me up)
   1. Clutch
   2. Flex plate
   3. throw out bearing
4. Clutch Fork
5. Clutch Cable Have one but might change it for an adjustable one)
   1. Adjustable Firewall mount
   2. Cable
   3. Steeda double fork quadrant (LMR for V6)
6. Fresh Trans Oil
7. Steeda Tri Axe
