Just got the mac catted h-pipe for an 04 GT. It sounds great with the exception of the exhaust leak where the mac hooks to the factory manifold (on the driver's side). The exhaust came with a peice of exhaust pipe, looked to be about 2 inches long, with a flared end. Is that peice supposed to go into the mac pipe before it gets connected to the factory manifold? I figured they probably supplied it to make up for the difference in pipe diameter. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunetly I can't. The best way I can explain it, is that it is a peice of exhaust pipe with a flared end and was about 2- 2.5 inches long. It looked like it was supposed to slide into the mac piping before it got bolted up to the factory manifold.

if it's the piece i'm thinking of that is what has to bolt to the manifold & connect the pipe to the manifold

Just wanted to update you guys, I put that peice into the pipe then rebolted it up to the manifold and it did fix the problem. Like i said before, I think that peice is used to make up for the difference in pipe diameter, but puttin it in made a HUGE difference in sound.
