Help! quick... PCV valve question

I got my new PCV valve and Hose, I got the Old PCV valve out, but how the hell do you get the elbow off of it, or should I have gotten the elbow with the new PCV valve?

nevermind..... doesnt come off.......... anyone know the part # for the hard plastic elbow for the PCV valve? Ford can't find it

whats your VIN, they list a few different ones depending on the build date and if the vehicle was equipped with a heated PCV valve or not.

If your careful, you can cut the pcv valve out of the elbow. I did that on mine. Then to get the elbow over the new valve, I heated it up a bit with a lighter.

But if you can find a new one somewhere, it would be easier to just buy it. Lol!

Sweet.....l went back to ford, and pulled my old valve outta the car and showed them... they had the elbow for the cobra, and stuck it on my new valve for me, woohoo , installed and good to go.... Now only if I can get my inspection to un fail me..................visible smoke my ass... emissions were perfect, no codes, and i still fail?

I bought the replacement PCV valve from Rockauto and did not receive the elbow. I used a leather glove and a heat gun to soften up the plastic elbow and reused it. I don't think you could get it off without heating it up as the plastic is quite hard.

I never saw a part number for the elbow on any of the exploded parts sheets.
