Can you guys guide me through the process of adjusting my rocker arms so they are straight and eliminate the ticking issues?

thanks for helping a newb!!

It looks like one of the holes for the rocker arm stud was drilled a little off center, a bent push rod, or your rocker arms are out of adjustment. Hopefully its the latter. I take it you have the original solid lifter Hi-Po cam?
If so it will be noisier than a stock or even a hydraulic performance camshaft. Make sure your rocker arm clearance is at spec. That will quiet it down some but it will still be I'm not sure what it is you will have to check the factory manual if you don't have one I strongly recommend you get one. GOOD LUCK!!
