Help!! Stang is bucking

Hey all,
At about 2k rpm my car is bucking or surging. I've checked all the vacuum lines and they look good. I plugged in my trusty scanner and it gave me a code 33 and a code 44. I'm fairly new to all this electronics stuff so I have no clue. The code 33 is egr related and the 44 is thermistor related. Could an inadequate fuel pump cause this. I also noticed that on the track when I'm balls to the wall my engine tops out at 5k (works fine if I slowly accelerate). Also, my tps, egr, and iac are fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

New 302 block standard bore, tfs tw heads, tfs track heat intake, e303 cam, stock forged pistons, scorpion 1:6 roller rockers, new pushrods, bbk 70mm TB & EGR spacer, usual cooling stuff...new radiator, thermostat, smog stuff still intact, but no ac or heater stuff. I think thats about it.

I know I need to upgrade my air/fuel system....ie bigger mass air meter, injectors and fuel pump...that might be part of the problem
