Make sure it's in park or neutral if it's a 5 speed. Turn the ignition on. Pop the hood and take the small push on wire located on the starter soleniod off. Now take a screwdriver and make contact between the small post you just took the wire off of and the battery terminal. If the starter is ok then the car will start.
