My new steeda aluminum control arms make this creaking noise in the back like a door creak or something whenever I come to a complete stop then start in first. It does it for a second then stops when I'm moving. Anyone else have this problem???

Argh! I hate creaking friggin LCAs! Trying tightening them some more. The aluminum ones don't have grease fittings do they?

i just installed my control arms & i'm getting creeking. i'm going to grease them up next week & see how it goes. i'm pretty sure it will solve my problem, but does yours have the grease fittings? if they do, that would be the first thing i would try if i were you

This sucks!!! They came with lube, had the polyurethane bushings, and I had them installed by Ford. It's not that bad, but I don't like the sound of it. I'm gonna check to see how well they greased em up. Thanks guys, it's good to hear other's are having the same problems too........wait, that's not good.

We had D&D LCAs on my wife's 01 GT...and the would friggin squeek and creak if you looked at 'em wrong. Drove us nuts, now they are gone. HD Ford uppers and stock lowers along with the helper shocks, all brand new, now take their place. They felt great, but the noise was just too annoying...sounded like a piece of junk car, IMO.

My STeeda LCA's did creak for about a week after the install then went away... Think they just need time to break in.

You need to lube them up good with the little tube of grease that comes with them. Also make sure you don't over torque the attaching bolts. I had some squeaking after the install as well. Most of it went away in about 2 weeks. After I installed the SFC, no sound at all.
