HELP!!!Tail Light Conversion

Can someone give me DETAILED instructions on how to do the 94-96 Tail light conversion? Got some black ones for me yellow car...they will look SWEET!!!

Go ask in the 4.6 section, your not wanted here anymore j/k Sorry I cant help you Ive never swapped my tail lights out b/c I dont want it looking like a 4.6

You have to buy a new harness for the conversion. Other than that I think they just swap right out.

Cut off the small bulb on the 94-95 harness, replace it with a 3157 bulb socket that has only 2 wires coming out of it. Then plug the bulbs in the light and put the light back on.

hey kdizzite,

do your tail lights do the sequential thing like they do in the avatar

if so, how did you do that, and is there a way to make ours do that without switching over to the 96-98 style tail lights

you can get a sequential flasher kit for about 80 bucks...im going to throw a set of the sequentials on mine one of these days

j/k man had to say it.....oh and you're probably gonna loose about 10-15 hp at the wheels by doing this swap

man i have one of the rarest SVT GT's around f00! dont hate on dis! im not gonna pull the sticker off leave the 2 holes showing and have to buy a new ford emblem

Mine are the whole harness from classic design concepts, and they were made for the 94 harness. It looked alright on the 94-95 lights but it was kinda weird so i switched to the newer lights and just put a new bulb socket on to switch to the newer lights. I threw together a picture of what the sequentials looked like on 94-95 lights, here it is.....
