Wow this sucks. Dont know what happened. But I was at wot in third gear went to shift into fourth car tacked out at 7000rpm and would not go down even shifted into fifth and let off the trottle finally had to shut tohe car off going over 70mph to get the car to stop when I tried to resart it it will start rev to 1500 rpm's and die. I can smell gas but dont hear anybad knocks or ticking(i have a built engine). Any idea's what could have caused this it was very scary!! could not have been my gas pedal sticking becouse it would have went down in rpms when i shifted into fifth/
