My brother gave me a set of lowering springs for my 89. He was told they were Ford Motorsports. What I really want to know is how low it will lower my mustang. They are black and the numbers on them are E5SC-5560-AA and on the next coil below that is 35483. Any help would be appreciated.

It would be nice if you said they were REAR springs.
They sound like FRPP rear "B" springs.

Search and there is a recent thread about the FRPP springs. Ford says 7/8" in front and 1/2" in rear. I got 1" amd about 7/8' or so from my B springs.

B springs can drop the front from 1" to 1.5". Most common is closer to ~1.5" for a STOCK GT with AC.

o.k. so what do I have. The codes I gave was off of the front springs, there also is a green tag with E5SC-5310-KA. Does that help? The coed on the earlier post was printed on the spring, the second set of digits is different. they are 5560.
