I got a set of upper control arms, but the bushings in the axle housing are torn just as bad or worse than the ones in the stock control arms are.

All i want to replace is the ones in the axle housing, and all i have seen are kits to redo the whole rear. What are my options.

One thing i did see is that Maximum Motorsports sells the rubber bushings, but they didn't say if they were stock replacements, or the harder durometer rubber than stock.

tell me which ones to buy, or which ones you run and what kind of success have you had.

thanks

jason

I got rear end axle housing bushings from Jegs:

http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stor...tsPerPage=25&pageIndex=1&searchTerm=555-60520

PN 555-60520 $27.99. I haven't put them in yet but it looks like you don't have to press out the metal sleeve on the outside of the bushing but just remove the bushing itself. Or am I wrong?
