Help w/ clicking sound

Possibly the timing chain? My friends timing chain tensioner siezed up and the chain was literally eating through the guides.

It doesn't sound like your buddies, and i recently replaced the timing chain as well, so i know its not that. Someone also mentioned maybe a sparl plug can be foul or injectors might be dirty.

I am gonna try the other suggestons put on here, and see if its an idler pulley.

Or the spark plug is getting ready to blow out of the head

CHECK YOUR THROTTLE CABLE NEAR THE FIREWALL..............THATS WHAT WAS MAKING THE NOISE ON MINE.........

I HAD THE SAME THING........2400-2600 KNOCKIN NOISE.........TOOK IT TO THE STEALERSHIP UNDER WARRANTY AND IT TOOK EM ALL DAY TO FIGURE OUT WHERE THE NOISE WAS COMING FROM BUT THATS WHAT THEY TRACKED IT DOWN TO AND MAGICALLY I HAVE NO MORE KNOCKING

Does anyone know if the spark plug is just ticking but has not blown out yet, can you just torque them down to the right specs and there would be no engine or thread damage? I may be able to buy a gt for a great price because everyone has been scared of the ticking sound and the owner just wants it gone now, and doesnt know what the ticking sound is (took it to a mechanic who couldnt find anything wrong in the valves so the owner thinks it needs an engine rebuild, mechanic told him its probably a burned piston. car still runs and drives great though so im sure its not a burned piston) any more info in the ticking spark plug would be greatly appreciated.
