This is on my wifes 99 Mustang GT w/ 50k miles, check engine light came on and I had the code pulled at autozone and it says cylinder 5 missfire. The car has a plug on coil no spark plug wires. what should I look for to fix this problem. thanks for any help
I'd throw a set of plugs in it if you haven't already done so. Your car is at a good mileage for them anyways. Take a good look at the COP when you have the plugs out. Pull the boot down on it and see if you can see any tiny cracks. If there's any cracks at all, it's bad and needs replaced. BigChief hit the nail on the head, but I figure if you replace one plug, replace them all.
