First off, i'm gonna need major help/advice, but I know stangnet won't fail to deliver!

Here goes:

By the end of the summer, I will have b/w 10-15k from my internship, i'm planning on saving about 50-60% and then spending the rest on my car. So that will mean I have aoubt 6000 to play around with.

So far, all I have is the Borla Stinger catback and Mac prochamber midpipe (btw I finally got my exhaust fixed and it's sounding great once again).

The goals/background for this car:
- I don't really care about going to the track and specific quarter mile times (I know, I know, that sounds weird, but i'm just not that interested in that sortof thing right now).
- It's a fun car, but it's starting to feel slow, and with a good chunk of money to spend on it, I would love to make this car more enjoyable, and in order to do that I need mods
- I don't know much about cars, I know general information with mods and such, but nothing techincal. With the amount of money I have, I think a supercharger would be a great addition, and I would be very pleased with it.

Questions:
-Since I want to go the supercharger route, i'm going to need alot of help with this. I know their is a pipes/boost/juice section where I have been browsing recently to find some info. And it seems as though Kenne Belle is the "fun" supercharger since it adds power down low, whereas Vortech adds more power up top. It would seem like Kenne Belle is the SC that fits me best, but I also know they are very expensive. Under my budget, I don't think I would be able to get a KB, what other SC that is similar to the KB would fit my budget?
-Again since I'm not looking for ideal track times, what other mods would I need to ensure that my engine can handle the SC? I don't want any problems (obviously no one does), and need to find out what purchases to make under my budget to help the car handle the extra power.
-The other mod I would like to get are gears. Since I won't be going to the track, and don't need to worry about "running out of gear", would 4.10's be suitable?
-Finally, aside from what *I want* to do, is this the best route to go with the money I have? If not, what are other suggestions? It just seems to me that superchargers are really interesting and would be a blast to have.

Lots of questions, i'll appreciate any and all advice you guys can give me. Thanks alot!

Is it an auto or 5 speed? If its a 5 speed, and you plan on doing a Vortech or something similar, I'd do 4.10's.. 4.30's if it's an auto.

The only thing "sort of" similar to a KB for our cars is the FRPP kit, but you're looking at a lot less power than the KB makes.

A vortech, paxton, etc, are all centri. blowers, meaning you'll have the max boost at high rpm's, so gearing is important.. 3.73's probably won't be worth the money for a supercharger like that..

4.30's and a centri. =

I personally would pursue gears first, and some smaller things, like short throw shifter (if 5 speed), or torque converter/tranny cooler if auto, subframe connectors, and upgraded axles while the gears are being done.

The rule of thumb is: you're on borrowed time supercharging/turbocharging the stock block, so be prepared to rebuild if the need arises.. that means having several thousand saved up, or a spare vehicle to drive while the stang gets fixed.

Have you considered perhaps a single turbo setup? Those may be a bit more work to install (if you plan on doing it yourself) but could net you sufficient power gains (without the full boost at every rpm of course,) without the cost of a KB .
