Help With 2001 Convertible, Please

I've just taken delivery of a beautiful 2001 SVT Cobra convertible. Gorgeous, original condition and only 15,000 miles. In the trunk I found the convertible top boot and a large vinyl contraption I just can't identify (see photo). With numerous hooks and straps I would assume it is involved the convertible top but I've never seen anything like it before. It is imprinted with Ford logos, but I couldn't find a part number anywhere. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks in advance--

I've got it! Thanks to a sharp-eyed member on another forum I have learned that the item is a front-end bra. Never owned one, and don't plan to use this one, but it's nice to know what it is.

Good idea, there are better ways to protect paint than a bra that can do more bad than good. I like the 2001 with amber turn signals in the rear and the IRS and still has the all aluminum engine with out the PITA IMRC setup of the prior Cobras.
