help with 69 coupe power steering hoses

previous owner put the wrong hoses on the pressure side of my power steering. there are two hoses linked together to form the high pressure line. this is causing a routing problem and straining the hose at the control valve.
(wrong angle and too long?) i need to know what or how many actual hoses there are on the pressure side. mustangs plus is showing only one hose. 69 coupe w/302 no cooler. #07251. any help would be appreciated. the hose is leaking and ready to blow from the strain. thanks.

Try your local auto parts store, I got my new hoses at Auto Zone...in stock. Not sure if they have a diagram for routing.

the correct pressure hose for a 69 is a 2 piece hose. you most likely have the correct hose but are lacking the hose support and bracket that bolts to the lower control arm mount. there are 1 piece hoses made but they are junk DO NOT buy them. also the extra length you are referring to is necessary because the hose assembly has to move with the PS control valve, they do not remain static. if worse comes worst just use a big zip tie to hold the hoses up under the car.
