hey all

the fuse that powers the dome light, glovebox light, and door-open chime blew on me tonight. Oddly, i think the previous owner might have wired the radio into this circuit as well because that doesnt work either. I thought the radio was on the cruise control and ashtray light circuit. The horn still works and so does the ashtray light.

TIA

The horn and ashtray light are on a different circuit.

Does the fuse blow immediately or does it take awhile and/or doing something in particular?

Was anything on the affected circuits done recently (recent projects, etc)?

I thought i remember reading that the horn, cruise control, and ashtray light were on the same circuit. maybe im wrong.

I havent tried replacing the fuse because i dont know which one it is. I made this thread to ask which one it is on the fuse panel.

The car sat for a while and i drove it through a big thunderstorm last night. I had a rather large puddle unexpectedly. Thats about all i got

the lights (dome, glove box, etc) are on fuse #8 15Amp.

fuse #8 is also the radio memory. fuse #11 15Amp is the radio power. atleast that's how the factory wired it

Here's a typical fusebox layout.
