We just got our 07 pony on the road and the shaker500 CD player does not work. When you get in the car the CD player makes a chattering noise for a few seconds, stops, and then chatters for a few more seconds and stops and the player reads "CD error". When I hit the load or eject button the player reads "initializing" for about 5 seconds. Also, when you first get in the car and the chattering starts the player displays oooooo on the top of the player above the "CD error" and stays there for some time. When I look in with a flash light all I see is a thin metal piece and when I try to insert a disc it hits the metal piece immediately. This car was in a major crash, hit on the right front and side and I thought maybe a disc had gotten stuck in the player from the impact but when the radio is off and I hit the CD button the player reads "no disc". When the radio is on and I hit the CD button the player reads "initializing". The radio itself works fine. Any ideas what this may be?
