I am about to buy a classic cdc chin spoiler. I can't find the place on line that will paint it two tone. I want it to look like the california special. White on the side and flat black in the middle. Can someone please help me out? I have been looking online for almost an hour and I am losing it! Thanks for taking the time to help out!!!!!!!!

I know google is my friend...... But both links you guys put up do not say that they will paint them the way I want. I remember seeing it somewhere that they gave the option on a drop box. Thanks for posting....

I thought you wanted the chin to be painted like a CS bumper cover with color matched paint on the sides and black texture in the center. If that's the case my link will only ask you to select the color you want the sides in giving you the look that I think you're trying to go for.

If that's not what you're looking for then I'm not sure. Give either places a call and see if they can accommodate your request otherwise buy an unpainted part and find a body shop in your area that will.

AtlantaAuto doesn't show the option, but if you call or email them, they will do it.

The other link goes directly to a page specifically for GT/CS style painted CDC chin spoilers.

Ordered the chin spoiler last week. Should be here by the end of the week. I went with the classic painted like the GT/CS. I talked to a couple dif shops and alot of them pointed out that because its such a large piece that they dont like to ship it painted. Now they got me a lil worried. Has anyone here ordered it painted? If so, did it arive in good condition?
Hopefully all goes well and I will post some pics when it gets here.

Reason being if it gets bent during shipping the paint may crack on it (think platic bumpers after tapping a wall or something). I wouldn't worry too much because the part most likely to get messed up like that is probably the center section right by the crease. That's going to be painted bumper black or textured black so that won't matter.

Unless it's packaged horribly, there shouldn't be enough flexing to have the paint crack as they should have added flex additive to the paint to start with. IMO, the reason they might not like to ship painted parts is due to possible scuffs/scratches during shipping.
