Help with classic 65-66 woodgrain steering wheel

Hi to all. I've spent some time trying to get some information on this subject but couldn't find anything, so here goes. I purchased a woodgrain steering wheel (not Grant) and the horn ring that goes behind it. I'm now ready to buy the other components to finish it up on my '67 coupe. NPD has the lower trim collar listed on page 99 of their catalog for the '67 Mustang. Problem is the catalog states for "Non-tilt" wheel. Can any body explain why a tilt wheel would matter?

Thanks horse sence. It's aftermarket. CJ Pony said there shouldn't be a difference.
