im trying to lube my speedo wire i dont wanna take the whole dash out. Im trying to get the part were my spedometer is and it wants to come but wont and then the plastics around the stering wheel are loose but wont come at all i never had so much trouble trying to take something off that is so easy? any one with suggestions.

The plastic around the steering wheel cover has 2 screws and 4 little clips holding it on. Make sure you remove those screws! Other than that, there are 2 screws on the top, which I'm sure you found, and 2 bolts that hold the bottom of the gauge cluster shield down. You have to remove the plastic cover to get to those ones. I didn't bother removing the light switches, just left them on and stretched out the wires when I needed to. Good luck!
