I'm installing an Autometer Trans Temp Gauge and I'm having problems with where to place the ground wire for the sender. Can someone suggest a place for a good ground.

Where are you putting the sender?? If your mounting it right in the pan, I don't you'll need a ground wire because the trans is probably already grounded. I mounted my sender in a temp manifold on the outgoing trans line and grounded it to one of the green grounding bolts near the battery.

Mounted the sender in the tranny at the pipe fitting plug on the left side. It's a 1/8 hole and the sender fit with no leaking. In wound up mounting the ground at the same spot you did. It's working fine because I had the ground in another location near the sender and the temp is reading the same.
