ok im going to buy a body kit and a new wing and i already have a hood and i might as well paint the rest of my car so how hard is it to prep the car what steps are involved and do i need to remove the pieces from my car or tape down so when i primer it doesnt go all over the place?

forgot to ask how much do you think it will cost to get my car painted if i preped all the work??? someone has had to done this?? im thinking of getting it done at macco for just the paint only.

I don't know what it would cost, but I paid about $800 and the place taped everything off etc.

If I were to do it again, I would do it a bit different. Remove all trim, windows, door panels, headlights, tail lights, etc. Anything that comes in contact with paint, take it off. Spend the extra time doing this. Then mask, so that overspray doesn't get everywhere.
