That's the one I followed. My dash is still off as I'm planning on dying it black. If you need some specific help or explainations let me know. I can take some pics for you.

Hey V8, that is kick ass dude-kudos!! Only thing is that I believe 88 and later model Fox's set up require full dashboard removal for the heater core and ac condenser to be accessible. It sucks no doubt.

actually, that article is with the entire dash removed. I wasnt' thinking when I yanked the dash,as I wasnt thinking tech article at that stage. This heater core swap is NO different than the 87-93 cars. We did a heater core swap on my bro's 88 notch, and it was identical to the tech article I just posted, once you get past the dash, all ac equipped foxes are the same.

Ah, my bad dude, I don't know where I got the idea that earlier Fox's had an easier time for ac and heatercore change. I would have bet my first creditcard purchased Vortech on too.

The early foxs with no air conditioning are a sinch, as you can do it through the glove box.

however, if you've got an early fox with air, the whole dash has to come out, no way around it.

To do my 93 I just swing the dash out a little so I can get to the H/VAc unit and like in the article I posted you dont have to touch the A/C. Ive done it many times this way.

maybe try the northeast regional forums? i know there's some NJ guys that hang around in there.

on another note, it's not all that bad if you break up the work over a couple days. that's what i did, had it all back together within the week and it was my first time doing the job. good luck man.
