Been looking around and all the old tech Articles and sites are dead.. Here's where I'm at...
02 spindles(they fit my 93 just fine)
Offset rack bushings
02 pbr calipers up front
Moog 02 ball joints
02 brake lines
95 master(new) and 95 booster
Removed stock prop valve.
Front brake lines tee'd off , rear line goes to a ford racing adjustable prop valve.
Rear 5lug drums

I'm about to swap the 02 gt front calipers, rotors, and brackets for 01 cobra...
I want to do rear disc gt brakes but can't find a good how to... Should I just go north car brackets/cables and just
Buy calipers, discs, hoses, and pads from work? What else do I need? I can bend my own steel lines if I need to, already did that with the front set

Be sure to use 94-95 rear soft lines because of standard threads - 96+ use metric. What rear axles do you have?

Here's my swap:

Cut the SN95 axle brackets to mount inside on the Fox housing
Tap and drilled a hole to mount 94-95 softline brakets
Rotor spacers from Disc Brakes R Us to use SN95 rotors on Ranger/Aerostar shaftshttp://www.discbrakesrus.com/make/ford/hardware.htm#axlespacer
Line adaptors Weatherhead 7818 from NAPA

Under the hood:
Used 94-95 MC
New 93 Cobra booster
Maximum Motorsports 3-2 MC line adaptor
FRPP adjustable proportioning valve
PV delete plug

E-brake stuff (I almost have all the parts for this)
FRPP adjustable equalizer cable
2 '93 Cobra e-brake cables (this is for '93 cars only)
SN95 brake cable brackets (mount on RLCA where sway bar mounts)
E-brake handle mod (removing the ratchet function)

Here's how you can use stock SN95 brackets and save a lot of money. Cut how it's shown in the photos and then mount on the inboard side of the axle. The right bracket gets mounted on the left side of the car as the left bracket gets mounted to the right side of the car.

With Cobra fronts, why not go Cobra rears?

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/fms-m-2300-m

Unless of course you have a good deal on the GT parts.

I see Saleen wheels in your sig, so you are kinda stuck using fox-lenght axles. So you have options depending on what your budget is or what you feel like doing.

#1) North race car brackets for whichever brake rotor setup you want (10.5" GT or 11.65" cobra)

#2) Midify the brackets as shown above.

At that point, your list is as follows

Axle brackets
dust shields (optional)
calipers (Cobra will work on either setup...GT/V6 only on GT setup)
94-95 Mustang rear soft lines (axle mounted)
Anti-moan brackets
hardware

For the E-brake you'll need the 3 ford racing cables
M-2810-A x 1
M-2809-A x 2

For the MC, you'll prob find the 94-95 GT MC too still as it's really only appropriately sized for the 94-98 GT brakes. With the Cobra fronts, you might find the 93 Cobra MC with 1" bore more appealing. That's one of the things everyone needs to try out and feel for themselves. MC selection really needs to match the brakes the car is wearing vs just arbitrarily picking one

Thanks for the info guys. I currently have superior fox length 5lug axles. As for cobra rears, the calipers are too expensive for what they are... GT has a much better price point.. One of u mentioned you had a 3-2 valve... Is this necessary for me? I don't have a stock proportioning valve. Just the ford racing adjustable... The 93 cobra master is doable. I have it available through work. I'll see how the pedal feels with the 95 first..
Lastly, those stock sn brackets seem like a good idea. Gotta hit up a boneyard.. Does anyone have a link to a good step by step?

You can get cobra rear caliber brackets from Cardone for around $50 a pair and be able to use GT calipers. You'll just need 11.65 rotors and cobra pads.

Has anyone here tried the Wilwood setup? Think there's a dozen different styles and only one or 2 for street use.
Complete set with e-brake cables etc is around $900 The one I was looking at is
Model 140-7146 + Anyone have any suggestions??? Does the above info apply to '89 as well? E-Brake cables?

Just a quick question since its about rear brakes.. I have everything for the rear from a 95 gt. Axles, brackets, calipers, basically everything but the soft lines. And I have the 99-04 17 iinch gt wheels in the five spoke.. Just wondering how it will sit or should I get fox length axles and do the bracket cutting trick?

The M-2809-A cables are only for 79-92 cars. With his car being a '93, he'll need two '93 Cobra cables because of the different equalizer assembly.

If you are running the SN95 17x8 wheels, you will be fine with the Sn95 axles. You might have to roll the fenders a little but if you aren't slammed it shouldn't be an issue. I'm running Cobra rear brakes with Sn95 axles on my car because I wanted to one day add 94-95 Mustang ABS to my car.

Awesome, that's exactly what I needed to know. I plan on getting some Eibach springs down the road, but don't plan on "slamming" it lol
