I was all set to wire in my Raptor shift light into the PCM, I had already attached the light inside the center of the air vents, angled up and towards the driver, just where I wanted it so my interior, except for the nonpermanent items like the LM-1 and Laptop, stays stock (looking). It got the fastener off of the kick plate and realized the sill trim would have to come off. The sill piece unsnapped on the edge closest to the seats but I couldn't get the outside of the sill plate to release. Before I broke it I thought to ask if there is a trick or some direction I should be pulling so I don't break it. Any help with how you are supposed to lift the sill plate off would be much appreciated.

Just grab it and pull up , it wont break

Warming it first with a hair dryer will make the plastic less brittle and less likely to break. I've had mine off several times. One of the hidden retaining clips may stay attached to the sill plate. Just reposition it like the others before replacing the piece.
