Help with smog pump removal

I can't get the smog pump out! Mine is held in 3 places, 1 top bolt, 1 bottom bolt, and some sort of hollow pin (similar to a disk brake guide pin) that goes through the middle. I got the top and bottom bolts off, and now I can swing the pump, but there's no way I can see to get the pin out! There's about half a centimeter sticking out from the front. I tried grabbing it with pliars and pulling but there's not enough material sticking out to grab on.

Has anybody had any luck with this middle pin? Any advice? Thanks!

I thought the smpg pump mounting like an alternator and the hollow pin you call out really just squeezed it in place on both sides, you should be able to grab the pump and pull it off if all the bolts are out.....

The pin holds it on. The alternator has a pin-like bolt but you can grab it and pull it out. The pin travels through the mount, through the smog pump, and through another mount, so you can't just pull the smog pump out, the pin holds it in on both sides.
