Hi everyone,
Two months ago, I completed the installation of a modular 4 valve motor into my '89 Fox with a T45 transmission. I installed a new FRPP King Cobra clutch (including new throw-out bearing, etc.) as well.
Ever since I got the car on the road, I have noticed that the throw-out bearing squeals, or squeaks, something like that, whenever my foot is off the clutch pedal. If I depress the pedal, the noise stops. Likewise, if I put a small amount of pressure on the pedal, it will go away as well.
Is there a remedy for this problem? Is it a matter of somehow lubing somepart of the bearing? Is this something for which I will have to remove the tranny?
Thanks all for the help with this very annoying problem.
