Ok so I am just about to put on the dual exhaust.. But the question is,. do I get the x pipe or no? The guy was saying I should because the pipe, is 2.5in.. and if Im right, ive heard not to go with a 2.5.. keep with 2.25..
I have an 02 that had the stock Y pipe w/single exhaust.
I called up Spin Tech ordered 2.25" catback exhaust w/ 2 prostreet mufflers
and then the X piece (not the x pipe w/ or w/o catalatic coverters just the X cross piece) had an exhaust shop put it all together and I love it It really woke the car up @3000+RPMs. A lot of people on this forum will knock the X pipe saying you dont need it But im really happy with the way my car runs. And Yes stay with the 2.25" pipes all the way through, 2.5" might be a little too big and you might lose power
