Help with.. This thing (Don't know what it's called)

So like it says, I'm not sure what this piece is called:

My question is, the little rivet looking thing in it that tells you where to mount it, there are 5 possible locations for it to go. Mine had it on 3 for the passenger side, and number 4 for the drivers. What is it supposed to be on? Sounds odd that they would have different positions.

It's not strange that they would be set different. When you set alignment parameters on a car you have to take into account the crown of the road which means that most of the time your settings are going to be different on each side.

there caster camber plates...one wheel always has to be staggered slightly ahead of the other...otherwise the car would be all over the place...your going to need an alignment now that you took it off though...hope this helps

now is a good time to order new caster camber plates and take it to a shop that has a HUNTER alignment machine to get the car back in factory specs
