Well I think that I'm over my head.. I just pulled my wiring harness from my car a 1985 gt convert.. Can I buy a new harness are will i have to go back with the on that came in my car? was i bad shape.. please someone help!!!!!
you can buy te painless wire hardness. its not cheap but easy to install. i wish i had the $ to do use them when i did my 4c to 5.o swap myself. i am still trying to figure out why my blinkers and wippers dont work lol. if you can help with that please let me know.

fromer owner of 1968 mustang, own 1990 lx 5.0,1989 lx, & a 1995 v6 . the one im swapping is the 1989 it has trick flow intake, mac shorty pipes,off road h-pipe, flowmasters, pro 5.0 shifter, t-5(5yrs. old), msd ing 6a & matser blaster 3 coil, mds spark plug wires 8.5, no smog, elec. fan, rebuit engine, 3.73 gears, underdrive pulleys.
thanks guys for oyur post.. I really appreciate it .. i called painless they said they only had a wiring harness for 67-70 but they did have a 12 volt harness for a hot rod whatever that means..LOL very new at this so if anyone knows if that would be good please let me know...
