i know this system is idot proof (but im an idot) could someone please tell me where to hook up the red, white and black wires and the intake hose and the regulator hose (on the zex box) and what to do with the hose that goes from the regulator to the intake on my car? please be easy on me im new to nitrous:D

The red wire goes to the toggle switch to arm the nitrous system. The black wire is ground. The white wire goes to the green wire that comes off your throttle positioning sensor. The throttle positioning sensor is the thing that sits on top of your throttle body. There should be 3 wires comeing off of it,Green, Orange, and black. The green one is the wire you need to hook the white wire up to. The regulator hose comeing off the nitrous management unit goes to the vacum port on your fuel pressure regulator. And the intake hose goes to the back of the manifold where your vacum line for your fuel pressure regulator use to go. You can just take the hose that goes from the manifold to the regulator right now and throw it in your tool box you wont need that anymore since you will be using the vacum lines off the nitrous management unit. The unit itself should be marked regulator and intake. If you go to www.zex.com and over on the left side of the page click on product info and then over on the right side click on installation instructions it will give you a list of every product they offer and just click on your kit which I would assume is V8 dry kit 82015 (it is the 11th one down on the list of nitrous systems) and it will give you the instructions on how to do it all. Make sure you follow these because if you are using the dry kit you need to program the nitrous management unit to activate under WOT.

The black buton is what you use to program it. Also just to make sure you wired it right. The arming switch should have 2 red wires. The one with the fuse holder on it goes to a 12v source and the other red wire off the switch goes to the red wire off the Nitrous management unit. Also you need to make sure you are using the correct fuel jet with the correct nitrous jet for whatever horsepower shot you are wanting to use. The fuel jet goes in the connection where the regulator line hooks up to the NMU and the nitrous jet goes into the nozzle that sprays the the nitrous. the jets are numbered according to the info I will give you at the end of this post. Now back to the black button, Turn the vehicle's ignition on but do not start the car. Turn the nitrous arming switch to the ON position. Go to the Nitrous management unit and push the black switch in. Look at the NMU's operation light. It should be red. Its in the learning mode. Go back into the car and press the gas pedal to the floor and hold it there for 10 seconds. Now go back to the NMU and the light should be flashing continuously from Red to Green to off. Now go back inside the car and turn off the nitrous arming switch and then turn it back on. Now go back up to the NMU and the light should be a solid green. The system is ready and should activate under wide open throttle now. Now go back and prees the gas pedal to the floor a couple of times you should be able to hear the silenoid click each time the pedal gets to the floor. Also very important do not ever ever program the NMU with the bottle turned on or any nitrous in the line. Also you should never activate the nitrous under 3000 RPM's and you should use a colder plug or and close your gap on the plugs to around .035. Make sure you are running 93 octane gas and retard your timing once you start spraying more than 100 shot. Heres a chart.

75 hp 100hp 125

Nitrous Jet 40 46 52

Fuel Jet 43 40 38

Ignition Retard 0 degrees 2 degrees 4 degrees

yes you can but I wouldn't run a whole lot of it. I personally haven't done it but I know of people that have. When I get home tonight I will talk to my neighbor and find out. I dont know if you have ever used NOS before but if you haven't you need to be ready especially if you are on street tires because if you activate it in 1st or 2nd gear with street tires you are probably going to spin the tires off unless you have a passanger with you. I personally wouldn't try it in first gear on the street. Now at the track with slicks hold the rev up to 4000 and let it rip as long as your tranny and suspension can handle that hard of a launch with spray.
