I have submitted two separate threads regarding application of a part number. I have not offered up the part for sale, hence why I didn't go to the parts trader section, I would just like to know what it fits. If my posts are getting booted off for some reason, would someone please let me know, and I will post the message elsewhere(although I am not sure where). Furthermore, if someone knows of a site elsewhere that references ford engineering numbers, I would be happy to submit there. Once I submit these threads, they appear when I return to the forum, but the next night they are not on the message board. Someone please let me know what's up. Thanks.

Sorry, folks, for frothing at the mouth over last posts. I have found them, although they didn't result in favorable outcomes, but hey what else is new. I do apologize for the previous thread, my first two posts were there, just a little evasive to find. I must say the number of hits on a "help" thread is amazing, and I hope someday I can be as helpful as many of you people seem to be. Thank you.

a guy at fomoco.com answered as this............. Mercury Comet GT, Looks like a Cougar but....
The Comet scoop has extra mounting bosses and so it is very easy to tell the diference when mounted. It will sell to a cougar guy but not for the serious money of a correct one. The Cougar guys like to use them on restomods. The scoop is also looks the same a Cyclone CJ in 69. Hawkrod
