Hello fellow Mustang fans, I'm wondering if anybody knows what size belt I can use to bypass the smog pump. Mine has seized and need to get it to the mechanic to fix. Cheaper to replace the belt than get a tow

If you can change the serpentine belt, you certainly can replace the smog pump yourself. It's only 2 bolts and a few hose clamps

Unfortunately parts store remans are pricey, but you can prob walk into advance auto or autozone and get one.

I'll add if you still have your cats you need to replace that smog pump asap or you will end up melting the metal inside your cats and they will clog up, and your car will not run.
