So what do you think guys?

Oh and a VERY special thanks goes out to christiesledd for hosting the pics. :nice:
EDIT: PIC LOL

I would not drive that car any more than you have to until you get it tuned again. If you get some bad gas or a hiccup in your fuel line for any reason, you'll have holes in your pistons.

LOL, and I just raced (and beat) a truck tonight too...that was kinda a test run to make sure the car was running ok, but I turned it to the 87 octain tune just to be safe and prevent any pre detination. But yea, that was my last get on it for another good month :( .

You are way way lean. I wouldn't recommend roping on it until that is fixed.

The leanest you want to be is 13, most tunes should have you running 12 -12.5

14 is bad! You may not ping but being that lean makes it very very hot fuel burn in the chamber and things go boom when that get's hot and can't disappate the heat!

LOL, yep. That lean condition is making it very hot, and more likely to detinate, so thats why I am running 93 octain on a 87 octain tune (low timing)...and hopefully it wont hurt the engine.....dang my 3 1/4 mile runs were on this tune with this A/F too, including my best time...at that point I had no idea my A/F was this bad. I wonder how much power is left hiding in that crapy A/F? Hmmm.

Nope, car is still running just fine....however I havnt got on it since that day where I raced the truck...and I dont plan to hit it any more. I have been running that chip for a while...ran my 1/4 time with it raced tha GT to 148 with it (87 tune on that one though) and raced a host of other people with the car i guess this lean. I had no idea it was running that lean until the other day. The cams are ordered, just need to get them in and I am off to the tuner. i think the car will hold up just fine until then.
