I saw this 03 Mach 1 yesterday on Craigslist immediately after it was posted. It was listed for $10,889 by a Chrysler/Jeep dealer. I got down there right away and was pleasently surprised. It was a one owner vehicle with a perfect carfax. All service records and even the window sticker. It has 50K miles and is in immaculate condition. The previous owner was in the Air Force and the car was stored for the winters here in CO.

I was actually able to talk the salesman down to $10,500 for the Mach 1, plus about $400 in dealership fees. Not bad for a clean Mach 1. The sales manager came out and told me his internet guy underpriced the car and he had gotten about 10 calls about the car after I bought it.

I love it. What do you guys think? I hope to keep it stock for a long time, but everytime I see a picture of a nicly built Stang my mind starts going. Anyways thanks for all the info on this forum so far. Paul.

Looks great! I think you got a good deal for sure! Even looks like the factory goodyear rubber is still on it, unless he replaced it with factory tires. Looks great! Congrats!

That is a killer deal!

And, BTW, it isn't stock anymore! Check out the pony in the grille!!!

On a more serious note, those don't look like the stock sized Mach tips. They look bigger to me. IIRC, stock tips on the mach are 3" rolled. Those look like mine, and I have 3 1/2" rolled tips. Might check the mufflers out, prob not stock either.

$10,500 for a Mach 1? WOW! Its a beauty as well.

Since everyone is pointing out non-stock items..............billet gas door, rear bumper insert letters and looks like MGW cupholder bezels. Could possibly have a MGW shifter too.

T-shifter sure is'nt stock, Mach 1 kick plates are'nt stock because I bought the same ones, the driver's door accessory buttons are'nt stock. The exhaust tips look small enough to be stock, but I could be wrong. You got a great deal, even though red burns my retina's.

D@mn!!! I sure wish I got a deal like that on my Mach, but I bought mine 2+ years ago with 20k less miles, & higher market value...

very nice!

Practically stole it off their lot. I say the best bang for your buck for some who are looking to get in the mustang scene. Great platform to start on.

Hurts to know what we spent a couple of years ago on these.
7800 miles when i got mine, paid premium for that though

Dude you got a killer deal! She is a beauty and seems to have been well taken care of. She definitely needs to be lowered though.

Great deal! I paid 13k for mine about a month ago and thought that was a decent deal. Good luck keeping it stock, I kinda failed at that with mine.

Nice ride man! Looks great in Red. If you are looking to rub some elbows with some fellow Stang owners in Colorado let me know! We always have a cruise from Boulder up to Estes park planned for the Mustangs birthday every year. It is planned for April 26th. Just PM me and I can give you the details if you want! Congrats!

Thanks everyone.

I think the exhaust tips on the Mach 1s are the same ones from the Bullit (?). Also the only option listed on the window sticker was an interior upgrade kit so I think that explains the cupholders and door controls. The American flag pony will have to go. I'm patriotic but that thing is hideous. It needs new tires soon so I'm deciding whether or not I wan't to put some rims on it.

Thanks scort, I'll try to get that day freed up so I can join you guys.

Two options: Transmission and the IUP package. The cupholders and chrome door controls were'nt part of the IUP. Those were aftermarket items bought by the previous owner. The IUP consisted of Bullitt race pedals, 4 way adjustable headrests, silver door solders (door locks), and special trim around the shifter and A/C - stereo area.
