I stopped at the Shell on Goodman road to get gas last night. I pull up to a pump, not noticing anything other than an open bay. I swipe my debit card and start to fill the ole F150 up with regular. Then I notice the woman on the other side of the pump is kicking and screaming at the gas pump. Being the gentleman that I am, I ask if I could help. It is at this point I notice she is driving a Hummer and the pump is on $120 and counting.
This is when the true me comes out. I said “Lady you are the one that wanted the status symbol.” She replies “ Yea, and I owe too much on it to get rid of it” At that point I kinda felt sorry for her.
Then I drove home, sat down in front of the TV, opened a beer and thought “ Man, sure will be glad when my new Mustang gets here”.
