I installed EL shorties a while back along with an OR-x pipe. I havenet been able to get the code to clear for rear o2 sensors since the EFFIng MIL eliminators dont work for my stang.

The first week or 2 that i was running the new setup it was flawless. Sounded great felt great. I let it sit for about a week and a half without any attention and i started it up and went for a spin and got a whole bunch of hesitation on the throttle. Its been wacky for the last month and i really want to get it fixed.

What would cause this nasty hesitation. Does it have anything to do with my o2 sensors. Is there maybe an exhaust leak that is causing this. my bro thinks its a bad coil pack but i doubt that much.

The rear o2's will do nothing but trigger you cel. You problem is elsewhere.

Any codes beside the rear mil's?

It's possible to be a cp... one way to test it is unplug them one at a time and see if your idle changes. If you unplug on and nothing happens, then its possible that one is bad.

Yes, an exhaust leak BEFORE the front o2's can cause all sorts of issues. Check that as well while your at it.

Most defintely sounds like an exhaust leak, is the car giving you any codes?

I would switch coils if it is missing and see if a code follows the coil itself, only If the car is giving you a misfire code.

So it hesitates a little and then you can feel it pick up full power all at once?

Listening.....

Use a auto stethascope(sp) or a long hose that you can put ur ear too and move it around your exhaust joints.
