Last spring i had the MAF rebuild by the new pro-m company. Yesterday on the way to get it inspected, i floored it. to my surprise, the car was spitting and sputtering from 3-4k, but after that, it cleared up and seemed to pull out of it.
I know this is kinda vague, but can anyone shed some light on how the computer/o2s/MAF stuff work.

thanks

Sounds like a lean issue. Get the wideband in and lets see whats going on. Is the PMS in yet?

Sometimes with LT headers the o2's cool off and won't read (they'll be 0 on the PMS screen if they're not working right, so you'll see) and when they don't read correctly, the engine leans out in part throttle.

It sounds like he was at WOT when the stuttering occurred (no lambda input AFAIK). I like the meter idea though.

Did you lengthen any wires to the meter when installing the PP? If so, check for a loose connection. I had this exact same problem which turned out to be a loose wire. Def. sounds meter related.

i didnt lengthen any wires, but some of the wires got hot in the engine bay with the red tubing around them, it think from the headers (or getting too close to them). They look somewhat OK, but i think that ill cut, splice, solder them and make sure they the wires are good!
