is it normal for a 95 v6 auto to have a slight hesitation such as 2 second delay when you accelerate mine does this at a stop and at a roll. fyi i have a heavy foot when it comes to driving. mileage roughly at 132,000

2 second hesitation? That's way too much to be normal. Are the RPM's real low when you get this? 3.8's are not known for all that good of power in the low end of the band. It's very weak below 1500. So stomping the pedal (if its a 5spd) in a low RPM and especially in a higher gear, does not help much. More like wastes gas. Does it bacfire even the slightest (even a small pop)? How long has it been doing this? Have you had plugs and wires done lately? Or even an injection cleaning? Sorry if you already noted this in an earlier thread.

rpms have gone as low as 500-600 but usually is around 800 during the hesitation. it has never back fired or popped in any way. i run injector cleaners thru the fuel system every month due to the fact that new mexico is a very windy state which blows....plugs and wires are new changed out 3 times in 4 months (just to make sure they weren't faulty even tried motorcraft big mistake less power). even with the 2 motors i put into it had a hesitaion problem. i was thinking maybe the trans was going out or is worn out since i have only done 1 service on it and that was in 3 years ago.
