Hey anyone going to the 5.0 magazine dyno day on sat?

Kinda disappoints me. Ron should use this as a growing event for his shop vs a Me Me event. For such an event, promotion is needed and I may have read something he posted a wk or so ago, but it got very little attention. Then they send info to other businesses to ask them to cover such business names. See this is where I would think having an event at their location would be a bonus cause other business customers that normally would not come to their shop would have a chance to view it. My only question is, how are other businesses suppose to notify their customers of such a request. This is a black eye to Fast IMO when it could be a chance to allow others to view their shop and ammenities. This surprises me nonetheless.

The event is listed as a 2 day event for this Saturday and Sunday. Starting time is 9:30 am with no finish time listed. I am not sure how many cars are listed to show, but if your not busy, check it out.

yep i called to see what the going price was going to be to dyno and he said $45 for 2 pulls. that was a week ago and they said they had only gotten a few calls so he was thinking of pulling the plug.

Why does this surprise you? I thought about taking my car down but then if I was asked to cover up my shop stickers and my car somehow made it in the magazine. Whose name or shop do you think it would promote? Fast wouldn't be doing this if it didn't benefit them in a few ways. I still might just show up and check things out but if someone ask me to cover up my stickers.crapola I will hold my thoughts on the whole business side of this until I see you in person.

I am pretty reserved about my thoughts on shops and dont promote and support most everybody. With that, I will share my thoughts with you in private rather then publicly.

Some people have absolutely NO clue on how to run a business. The audacity to invite people to come to and purchase time on your dyno (when there are at least 6 more dyno's in this city I know of) but then act like a little child and say you can not show support for your friends and people you spend your hard earned money with, is not a way to do business in the least bit.

I thought it would be fun to go and check out what might show up but with such childish behavior I think now and the fact I might be asked to cover my stickers that show support for my shops...I don't think so.

One thing I LOVE about this area is that there are shops like Krazy, and All Ford that I know if I need help or something taken care of I have people like Allen and Jon and if they are not able then both Jeff's can take care of me and vice versa, no matter what sticker are on my car.

This sort of behavior is completely uncalled for and childish and will show in their lack of business.
