Hey Cory, a Saleen Q for ya...

..if a guy was in the market for a set of the 87-93 stripes that went along the bottom of the door/ground effects ( 3 as I recall, fading out from black to almost grey as they came up ), where would I find them? I checked Steves web page, but the only listing I could find were for little scripts, and emblems, etc... not the stripe kit. ( they had em for the newer cars though ) Do ya know anybody who's got some?

The stripes that were on fox saleens are no longer made and sold by saleen. Have not seem them else where either.

The 3 stripes are for the '84-'88, and the 9 stripe are for the '89-'93. Please note that Saleen made the cars with whatever was lying around the shop back then, so there are many '89 cars with the 3 stripes.

And of course they discontinue that crap just when I needed um ,.. O well I like the stripe delete better...

Performance has alot of that stoof .. some are just going to be very hard to find or custom made. If ya need the script for the window banner..ie.. old style I have one you could borrow.

I dont want the windshield banner cuz my car is not a Saleen. imho It would not be right to put Saleen on it, if its not a Saleen. BUT I do like the look, so the stripekit and ground effects will go on.
