Tomarrow im taring in to replace my headgasket on my 90 gt with a 5.0 and b cam otherwise stock motor. I just put the motor in there not to long ago and it just wouldnt run right. had alot of people look at it, replaced alot of parts, the car was put on 2 different computers and would NOT throw out any codes. the car would sometimes crank up and idle right and run stout and sometimes the CEL would come on and mann it would be completly slugish/weak as hell and idle high while it was on. any ideals to what might be causeing that?? and also what can i do to block off the EGR? the vacumm isnt hooked up to it. can someone tell me how to block it off and hook it back up right or something?? I did the jumper wire code checking andit was blinking and then stop and blink some more. can someone tell me how to read the codes???
