I just started daily driving my 91 LX and I have discoevered this annoying clunking sound. I replaced a worn inner tie rod last night, which helped tighten the steering but the "clunking" is still taking place.
This occurs whenever I hit a bump on the road, I do mean ANY bump. A hollow, clunking noise.
I checked the ball joint for play and found nothing. Shock mounts look good. What have I missed everyone?
