I haven't been around these parts in a bit. How you all been?

I moved to Ottawa now. I'm currently looking for a mechanic who can do the safety/emissions and repairs all in one place. Preferably one that does Saturdays or something -- I work Mon-Fri 9-5 and I don't want to have to take a whole day off just to drop my car off.

Why? I'm saving a ton on taxes . Plus I like my little downtown bachelor pad, I even have it equipped with a keg fridge .

But now its time to jump through all the hoops and stuff to get the car safetied and e-tested. .

Hey!

I can't think of a good shop off-hand that will safety your car, but try heading to the forums at redliners.ca. It's an Ottawa car entusiasts group (some people on Redliners are idiots though, be warned), but they would be able to suggest various good reputation shops that will safety your ride.

OT: Any pics of that keg fridge?

How ya been?

Yeah, I have an account that way as well. Took a peek and didn't really see anything though. Trying to get someone through word of mouth as I only have 2 more days on my trip permit.

For the fridge, I can get some pics tonight and post'em, or I can PM you the place that makes it (Canadian company on the east coast). Mine holds full size kegs, has a rig complete with co2. Plus, beer is cheaper when you buy bulk!

Well, I found a place, they were able to get me fixed up. I've now got all the paperwork done and will be getting my plates tomorrow finally.

Now to enjoy!

Yeah I know, still no pics. Been really busy lately and haven't had time to snap any of the fridge or the bar (well hell, if you're going to get a keg fridge you gotta get a bar too!).

That being said though, I got my safety and e-test, now I'm all plated and on the road. Warn the pedestrians to get off the sidewalks now! j/k
