Gotcha. Sounds like fun man, last game I went to was at Kinnick Stadium at U of I, which is no superdome! Although we did build a new pressbox and megatron! Have a good time.

Let's see what happens when they play a real team.

I wanted a rematch of you guys and us for the NC.

OSU doesn't deserve it IMO. Oh well, show em who's boss. SEC > Big 10.

I am a bit bias towards the SEC personally. It is the most competitive division in my opinion, but again I am bias.

I am waiting on the Arkansas/Missourri game...

I enjoy Hester @ LSU. He is quite a solid runner.

Just waiting for the new year...

I sure hope it is a better game than i was last year. Im glad that the SEC is being represented in the NC again.

I guess I will be in Shreveport again this year. Give Bama another year or two and things will be grate.

How can that be? They didn't lose to ANY unranked teams, unlike most of the other "forces to be reckoned with" teams that did. In fact, the only team they did lose to (and looked like total crap doing it) was Illinois, who was in the Top 10 in the nation (when they played OSU) and happened to finish #2 in the Big10. (OSU lost to a good, ranked team. Plus, a number of the officials over the OSU/Illinois game have been fired for their bad calls on the field, in that game and others. Hmmm.) Yes, the Big10 sucked this year. So did a lot of other conferences. (I don't see what is the love afair with USC and LSU with the pollsters.)

You gotta admit that the Big10 is starting to bring in some quicker guys on the defense. Still not quite where the SEC offense is, but I'm afraid that's not how the Big 10 works. OSU does get to the NC game quite a lot. (Thanks Jim Tressel!) They can't be too awful.

Who is down for getting rid of the damn BCS and just using a playoff system?

If heard right OSU is 0-8 aganist SEC teams in bowls. But OSU always has a good team no knock on them but yall really need to play somebody besides Michigan.

I know the BCS does not go by strength of sechdule anymore. But maybe if yall played better teams more people around the nation would give yall respect. Take last year for example everbody thought is was the best team in OSU history. Just my .02

YES git rid of the BCS. But we are beating a dead horse cause that is not going to happen.

I agree. Last years bowl game was a big dissapointment to everyone here. No excuses. Our Heisman Trophy winner (who had gained about 30 pounds) played like a schoolboy. Our line couldn't protect him. Our defense let everyone and their sister through, like it was a frat party.

On the other hand, Florida played flawlessly. The one play that shows their hunger is when one of the Gators players lost his helmet and KEPT ON COMING! That was amazing! The best team certainly won, there.

That said, I would not expect Tressel to let that happen again. (He went so far as to make the keypad combination to the weight room "4114", so that everyone would remember the flogging they took last year. )

As far as changing the BCS rating system, I agree. A full bore change won't happen. How about, though, if the undefeated teams get to play each other in the BCS game? Last year, Boise State was undefeated and didn't get to go. This year it's Hawaii. With all "little teams" beating up on the "big teams" this season, it proves that just because they are "little" doesn't mean they can't come in and win. (App. State vs. Michigan comes to mind. Auburn did it too.) Let Hawaii play against the best "1 loss" team this year, for instance. They've earned the right to be there by WINNING ALL THEIR GAMES. If there are 3 or more UD teams, let the BCS points come in to play for that. If there are NO UD teams, then use the BCS points.

Just a thought.

That's it. Keep looking to the past. Make sure LSU prepares for the OSU that played in the BCS Championship game, last year.

Believe me, I remember the John Cooper years for OSU. There is still no "swagger" for our team, because of that. They NEVER won in the clutch with him as the head coach. The "Cooper Years" OSU fans are "guardedly optimistic".

Twenty four days before Christmas, in a state in the south,
Les Miles was pissed as he opened his mouth.
“Miles to Michigan,” was reported as fact.
To which Miles responded, “Herbie you don’t know jack!”

The Tigers had suffered a gut wrenching loss,
At the hands of McFadden and the rest of the hogs.
And Bo in his sweatshirt, and Miles in his Hat.
Were determined to prove they were better than that!

When the Tennessee Vols ran out on the field,
There were ruckus applause from the mentally ill.
Still in the locker room, Les told his team,
“This season ain’t over. We still have a dream.”

The hurt throwing arm of QB Matt Flynn
Meant Ryan was the man they put their faith in.
Then the fans all heard, what Les said in the Dome.
“I ain’t goin’ anywhere. I’m happy. I’m Home!”

The fans were still thinking “This might be a trick.”
‘til someone pointed out “Hey, this guy ain’t Nick!”
The Hat took the field for this championship game,
And he brought all his Tigers, and called them by name;

“Now, Hester! Now, Early! Now, Highsmith and Putt!
Let’s let ‘er rip and shut these guys up!
Take to the field! And give it your all!
Then later we’ll watch numbers 1 & 2 fall.”

The fans still weren’t sure as to what team would show,
The Virginia Tech game seemed like so long ago.
But there in the stands, the fans they did cheer,
As Perrilloux played his game of the year.

While out in Ar-Kansas, the hogs claimed the boot,
The tigers were focused on far better loot.
With the game knotted up, Ainge threw a quick out
But Zenon was ready and took six to the house.

He wore a LSU jacket, and a white turtle neck,
The same as he wore when his team beat La Tech.
With the hat on his head, and a childish grin,
Miles put his team in the title picture again.

His smile-how it widened! as Pitt won its game!
He cheered Oklahoma, when it did the same.
The stars were aligning, it couldn’t be true.
Turns out Miles WAS destined, to play O-S-U.

With a month to prepare and a month to heal up,
We’re all pretty sure which team will show up.
He ain’t going to Michigan, and we’re sure of that.
But Tressel and the Buckeyes should still Fear the Hat.

On December first, he called L-S-U home.
Then set up the Tigers, to play again in the Dome.
It soon will be legend, how Les started that day,
“Can’t talk now. . . . I’m busy. . . . [Y’all] have a GREAT day!”
